According to a press release, Van Halen will perform songs from “A Different Kind of Truth,” as well as tracks from the band’s catalog.
The first single from “A Different Kind of Truth,” titled “Tattoo,” will debut along with its accompanying video on Tuesday (1/10). The album marks the first original Van Halen studio album with Roth on the mic since “1984.”
In a surprising twist, funk/R&B veterans Kool & The Gang — who after 30 years still feature core members Robert “Kool” Bell, his brother Khalis Bayyan, and friends Dennis “DT” Thomas and George “Funky” Brown — will open select dates, according to promoter Live Nation.
