Design Commemorative Poster Art for ZZ Top’s new album, La Futura
Rock and Roll Hall of Famers, ZZ Top, are looking for bold new poster art in support of their first record in 9 years, La Futura. Produced by Rick Rubin, La Futura « reflects the solid blues inspiration that has powered the band since the very beginning with a contemporary approach ».

For this contest, take the same method that ZZ Top did with La Futura and create a classic piece of blues-inspired art while adding in your own contemporary style.

Suggested Theme & Style Guidelines
Be influenced by the artwork for the album, La Futura, and feel free to use the song titles (found on the ‘More Info’ page) as added inspiration.
However, do NOT use any of the album art in your design and avoid mimicking it directly.
Be creative and defy the obvious. Your illustration should be a strong, distinctive design that stands on its own as a piece of art. Like the album cover, make your design embody the rich heritage in bluesy, American art.

Things You Need To Include
- Required text: « ZZ Top ».
- Optional text: « La Futura ».
- All submissions must be original art/illustrations.
- The winning designer should be able to submit a layered file (.psd, .eps, .ai) of the winning design.

- Respect copyright. DO NOT submit copyrighted work.
- DO NOT use stock images or clip art.
- Do not include any illustrations/photos of the ZZ Top band members in your design.
- DO NOT use stock images or clip art.
File Specs: Poster 16×20 in.
Your file should be 16″ x 20″ and have a minimum resolution of 200 dpi
Accepted file formats: .JPG, .JPEG, .TIF, .TIFF, .EPS
.TIFF (or .TIF) formats should be flattened
.EPS formats must have all type converted to vector paths (traced or outlined)
RGB colorspace only
Max file size is 60mb
