Soprano saxophonist/composer Jane Ira Bloom comes together with long-time collaborators bassist Mark Dresser & pipa artist Min Xiao-Fen along with percussionist Satoshi Takeishi for an evening of original compositions that explore the frontiers of improvisational dialogue between east and west. Bloom, Dresser and Min Xiao-Fen have a long history performing together at The Rubin Museum of Art, the BAM Café, New School University,  and The Stone but it was at the United Nations performing Resonations, a 2009 large ensemble project combining musicians from remote locations around the world that the four musicians first played together.Don’t miss this special one time concert event with these seasoned sonic explorers.
