Hi everyone,So I’m a little late with my March newsletter (being that it is the last day of the month), but I’ve got some good news. . .
My first single « Vegas » has been released and is now available on CD Baby’s Web site at: http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/laurenfulbright
CD Baby has also submitted the single to lots of other online music stores, but it may take some time before it is available everywhere.
iTunes, for example, might have it within the next few hours or it could take up to two weeks to get posted. I will send out an email blast when it is up and available.
And stay posted for news on my second single, title to be announced, which I plan to release by May 11 (Again, hard to know when online distrubutors will actually get it up, but I’ll submit it super early this time and hope for the best).
I’ve had a wonderful month with lots of yoga teaching, a great show at Ebenezers Coffeehouse in DC, and some recording studio dates.
Recently, my good friend Brian Franke of FarAway was in the studio with me finishing up « Tornado Sky. » Check out the lastest rough mix on my Reverbnation (www.reverbnation.com/laurenfulbright) or facebook (www.facebook.com/laurenfulbrightmusic) pages.
And in other news, we celebrated the one-year anniversary of bringing home our sweet hound Gatsby.
Hard to believe that just over a year ago, he was about two days away from getting put down in a rural pound when I called to ask about him. I drove out to meet him the very next day and our lucky boy found his forever home just in time. He is a big part of why I am so passionate about pet adoption and, of course, this newsletter wouldn’t be complete without a local dog that is in need of a home.
Check out this cutie available through Homeward Trails Animal Rescue. . .
His name is Toby and he is a redbone coonhound and retriever mix (How cool is that?) Read all about him here: http://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/27834971/
And if you’re not in my area and are looking for a pet, www.petfinder.com is a great place to find your new best friend!
I hope you are all doing well!
Love, love, love Ya’ll!
Lauren
