Three BIG reasons you should be at KoSA:
1. Getting better at your craft.
No matter how good you are as a drummer/percussionist/musician, there is something to learn. In fact, when you come to KoSA, you’ll see our famous Artist Faculty taking in each other’s classes. True greatness is measured in humility… and learning knows no boundaries!
2. Making new friends, many with world famous dossiers!
Just like Helen of Troy (The FACE that launched 1000 ships). KoSA is the camp that launched 1000 camps. We know there are many options for your drumming time and investment this summer. In fact, many of these options were started by former KoSA Participants and Artist Faculty! Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, and we are flattered. HOWEVER…there’s only ONE KoSA. For 19 years, and counting, it has been THE Drum Camp. A unique blend of education, entertainment, familial settings and environmental beauty. Just a quick hint…when you sit down to a meal during the KoSA week, joining you will be the 2014 Artist Faculty:
Robby Ameen – Drumset
Sergio Bellotti – Drumset
Chris Coleman – Drumset
Dominick Cuccia – Drum Corps, Marching Percussion
Mario DeCiutiis – Electronic Percussion / Kat
Frank Epstein – Classical Percussion
Dom Famularo – Drumset
Richie « Gajate » Garcia – Latin Percussion
Jamey Haddad – Frame Drums / World Percussion
Aldo Mazza – Drumset-Hybrid-World Percussion
Jojo Mayer – Drumset
Allan Molnar – Technology, Jazz Vibraphone
John Riley – Jazz Drumset
Marcus Santos – Brazilian Percussion
Michael Wimberly – African Drum & Dance
The (constantly in motion) KoSA Rhythm Section:
Bob Quaranta – Piano
…want to know what these folks like on their salad? You will at KoSA.
3. Bragging rights
Okay, not really bragging – – which gets you nothing – – but « sharing » rights are fair game! Tell your friends about KoSA, what you learned, who you met, how it has enhanced your view of life and how the experience fits within your musicianship, moving forward.
There is still time to participate in an event known world wide for its unique offering of learning, experience and fun. Often imitated but never duplicated. Join us at THE DRUM CAMP.
