Friends,

As I mentioned earlier today, the Your Black World Network experienced some technical difficulties last night that prevented many of you from purchasing the Black Family Film Pack that went on sale this weekend.

On behalf of myself and the entire Your Black World Network staff, I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced and have extended the deadline to give you a final opportunity to take advantage of the sale before it comes to an end at11:59pm EDT tonight.

With that being said, I should also mention that Lamar and Ronnie Tyler, creators of the Black Family Film Pack, surprised me at my 42nd birthday party last year in Atlanta.  I had a chance to sit with this amazing couple, and through hours of conversation, I came to the conclusion that they truly have our community’s best interest at heart.  With shows like « The Cosby Show, » and « A Different World » no longer on the air, I’m thrilled by the idea of seeing black cinema that doesn’t use ratchetry, violency, or misogyny as its key selling points.

I agreed to participate in another one of the Tyler’s films, and I also plan to partner with them extensively in the future.  I become emotional over the idea of restoring the black family in America, for this is truly the most critical aspect of our community’s survival.   As toxic music and media serve to brainwash our children, we must return to the village as a mechanism for the protection of black love, family, unity and prosperity.

No one has the right to disrespect black families, black women or black children.  We cannot allow it.

Here’s what the Black Family Film Pack includes:

  • Still Standing: This film explores how a diverse group of couples survived infidelity, chronic illness, financial crisis, etc. Starring Kindred the Family Soul, Dr. Sherry L. Blake (Braxton Family Values, RHOA) & Speech Thomas (Arrested Development).
  • Men Ain’t Boys: This film provides a blueprint for men, women and children to learn how real men live and how real men love.
  • You Saved Me: This film takes an emotional, in-depth look into the marriages of eight African-American couples, exploring marriage trials, changes, successes, and ultimately, the healing that comes out of true love and commitment.
  • Happily Ever After: A Positive Image of Black Marriage: In this film, counselors and marriage experts speak on the prevalence of Black marriage stereotypes and the multi-layered effect of the decline of Black marriage and families.
  • Financial Lovemaking 101An ebook written by me, teaches you how to make financial choices that can serve to stimulate and strengthen your relationship, rather than destroy it.
These films, created by Lamar and Ronnie Tyler, the founders of Black and Married with Kids, are credited for restoring and redefining Black love in a way that no one in modern-day mainstream media has done. The Tylers have traveled across the nation showcasing their films in thousands of sold-out venues. This is your final opportunity to purchase these life-changing films at a discounted rate. Click here before it’s too late.
Until we meet again, be blessed, be safe, and be educated.–
Dr. Boyce Watkins

P.S. Hollywood would never promote these films. Let’s show them that we’re serious about protecting the image of the Black Family.  Click here to purchase the Black Family Film Pack before the 11:59pm EDT deadline!

Friends,

On behalf of myself and the entire Your Black World Network staff, I sincerely apologize for what happened last night. Yesterday was the final day of a $40-off sale for the Black Family Film Pack, and everything was working perfectly until last night.

During the final hour of the sale, our website crashed as many of you attempted to purchase your package before the deadline. We received a number of emails and calls from many of you immediately after the site crashed.
Since this matter was 100% our fault and nothing that any of you did wrong on your end, we are extending the sale through11:59pm EDT tonight!
Again, we are deeply apologetic for this mishap and are sorry for the inconvenience and frustrations this may have caused you.
If needed, details about what the sale entails are below.

The Black Family Film Pack includes:
