The Greatest Jazz Birthday Party Ever
Chick Corea @ 75, Blue Note Jazz Club
Not a seat to be had. Not even standing at the bar where intrepid jazz fans can usually cop a listen, if not a good look. The CC E-Band is on fire. Defying laws of physics, the guys are impossibly getting better with time. Absolutely jaw-dropping. An auspicious opening to this historic run for Armando Antonio. Stay tuned for Week Two and a Miles tribute that you won’t believe.

years in the making
After years of playing to audiences all over the world – with scores of shows packed with musical brilliance – how do they pick what ultimately makes it on their new album?
Well, the Artists listened to every single show and found the best-of-the-best, « super-magic » takes.
Béla says it best: « Lightning would strike, and things would happen that we never could have planned. »
