Martha High’s new album, Got My Senses Back, is scheduled for release early August 2021.
What began as a casual conversation with a friend in October 2020 evolved into an exciting new album.
Martha became inspired to do a new album after she reconnected with an old friend, Michael Edell, producer and arranger for Grey and the Hit Me Band. She had listened to his album and invited him to record Love Don’t Live Here Anymore — a fan favorite during her live shows. That collaboration grew into a 9-track album now in the final stages of worldwide release.
Martha said, « I love Michael’s writing and arranging style. The ideas kept flowing! Together we wrote and chose several songs to record then laid down the final tracks in June 2021. I performed Got My Senses Back and Break That Chain to live audiences throughout my European tour and my fans loved the songs. I can’t wait until the album is available for the world to hear! »
The album contains 9 fresh new tracks, including an extended mix of Break That Chain. If you are looking to have a funky good time and be moved by joyful and inspirational music, be sure to check out Martha’s new album — Got My Senses Back.
