I’m still trying to digest this but Hillard “Sweetpea” Atkinson. One the greatest singers and souls on this planet has gone to his God. He was my friend, band mate and family since we met at Sound Suite in Detroit 1980. Via Was (Not Was) and the Boneshakers we stood side by side and I watched him command the stage with his incredible voice and aura. Truly one of kind.
