Charles « The Delta Blues Hog » Hayes

I’m really sad to hear about Charles « The Delta Blues Hog » Hayes. I have fond memories of working with Charles back when Rick Kreher and I hosted the Reggie’s Blues Fest Afterparty on a bill that also featured his brother Pee Wee. I got to know him when he would come by the Smoke Daddy to sit in way back in the 90s. He was just a low key, down to earth working man, a kind and intelligent guy who sang the blues with a lot of intensity. My sympathies to Pee Wee Hayes and the rest of his family.
