The disc will be a BEST OF from this tour 1-2 songs per show from various concerts along the way. This PRE-SALE will help us offset some tour costs, mainly van rental, but also hotels and road expenses which for us will be around $600+ per day. Our last tour in the West Coast, even with Merch sales, was offset by heroic financial efforts by Leonardo at MoonJune Records, but this time we won’t have his help. David’s history as a legendary guitarist on ECM records, and working with folks like David Bowie, David Sylvian, Tim Berne, Bill Bruford, Jan Garbarek, Don Cherry, Ryuichi Sakamoto, etc is well known, including his work as a film composer—Carlstedt’s time with legendary jazz drummer Chico Hamilton, and Motzer’s work with David Sylvian, Jaki Liebezeit, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Percy Jones (PAKT), Ursula Rucker, Les Nubians, and others, as well as his decades of releases on 1k Recordings tell the tale. The band’s chemistry is incredible.

This new project BLADE OF follows a forward arch in creative improvisation and composition in the moment with an orchestral stew of sonics and rhythms springing forth from this brilliant band of players. Blade Of is presenting their debut album THE FLOWERING AM on 1k Recordings.
