Welcome to the October Rockin’ The Blues On Two Wheels newsletter! Halloween weekend is here! We are in the Bay Area for a huge party Saturday, October 27, at Crown Billiards in San Ramon. Prizes for the best costumes with a full bar and big Rockin’ Blues tunes from the band! Located at 2416 San Ramon Valley Blvd., 21 years or older, party starts at 9 PM! Have some fun on the billiard tables!
Before Thanksgiving gets here, we are going all out for the weekend of November 9, 10 & 11. On Friday, November 9, we are in Coarsegold for a show at the Blue Heron Restaurant & Lounge. Located in Yosemite Lakes Park at 30250 Yosemite Springs Parkway, this beautiful club house is always up for a good time, and we will definitely be Rockin’ the Blues! Special guest musicians expected are Scott Bolsta on sax and Kirk Nelson on keys, plus a surprise appearance of guitarist Harley Giles! The roof will lift off at 8 PM!
On Saturday, we travel to Oroville, check in to Feather Falls Casino and get ready for the one of the biggest Blues events of the year! This event will be the biggest Blues guitar shootout in California! The best California blues guitar players are gathering at Feather Falls Casino in Oroville on Sunday, November 11 for an all-day concert to celebrate good times and guitar blues! You do not want to miss this! Brad Wilson will be blazin’ some ripping guitar with Coco Montoya, Laurie Morvan, Michael Williams and Cafe R & B!!! Move over and let BW take over! This event has tickets on sale now! Our show will be at 1 PM, and we are performing a 75 minute all-outBlues Magic show! The casino is located at 3 Alverda Drive in Oroville.
Charged up from the mighty blues energy of the Feather Falls Casino Blues Guitar shootout, we are driving to San Francisco to Biscuits & Blues! This day, Sunday, November 11, will be as exciting as the day the San Francisco Giants clinched a World Series come back against the St. Louis Cardinals! The band will be red hot as we hit the stage at 7 PM with monster blues harp guest, Tumbleweed! Performing the songs from the new Blues Magic album and deep, deep blues standards, the band will have you on your feet dancing! I just got word that guitar ace Harrison Flynn will sit in. Harrison is 17 years old and on his way to LA to play the House of Blues!!! There will be a show at 7 PM and at 9 PM. Biscuits & Blues is located at 401 Mason Street in San Francisco. Tickets are $15 at the door and good for both shows!!
For our friends in the California Central Valley, we are performing a show close to home on Saturday, November 17, at the River View Restaurant and Lounge, located at 42323 Sierra Drive in Three Rivers. It’s a very cool club that has a patio on the river and an amazing location in the foothills of the Sierra Mountains. We will start Bluezin’ with lots of dance tunes at 9:30 PM. It’s always a blast playing close to home!
The holidays are already being planned, parties, New Year’s Eve events, etc. I spoke with the band and if you want us to come to your house and provide the music and entertainment for your holiday party, contact us!
