GARY LUCAS’ new duo collaboration with legendary Van Der Graaf Generator frontman PETER HAMMILL entitled « OTHERWORLD »
is released on Monday Feb. 3rd by Esoteric Recordings/Antenna, distributed by Cherry Red Records.
The pair recorded the album in Peter Hammill’s Terra Incognita Studio in Bath England last year,
and features Lucas’ psychedelic fretwork in tandem with Hammill’s distinctive vocals,
in a program mixing the duo’s songwriting with other-worldly soundscapes.

The duo makes their live debut on Fri. Feb. 21st at London’s Union Chapel.
Their next appearance is scheduled at the Gouveia Art-Rock Festival in Portugal April 27th.
Next week, Gary Lucas heads to Budapest to begin work on a new album with experimental jazz-rock ensemble deBORT.
Led by saxophonist/composer Toni Deszo, Lucas recently shared a bill with deBORT at the Budapest Jazz Club
attended by Mihaly Vig, Bela Tarr’s composer (« Werckmeister Harmonies », « Satantango »), and other notables.
