Guitarist, singer, and songwriter Tab Benoit makes his home near New Orleans in Houma, Louisiana. Born November 17, 1967, he’s one of a handful of bright rising stars on the modern blues scene. For most of the 1990s and into the 2000s, he’s worked each of his records the old-fashioned way, by playing anywhere and everywhere he and his band can play. Unlike so many others before him,Benoit understands that blues is not a medium in favor with 50,000-watt commercial rock radio stations, so as a consequence, he’s combined each of his releases with as many shows as he can possibly play.
As the representative Blues Society in Orange County we are proud to lend our support to this outstanding event at the World Famous House of Blues Anaheim!

Every May, the Doheny Blues Festival kicks off the summer concert season in Southern California.
Blues legends and up-and-comers take over Doheny State Beach for three days of the best music you’ll ever hear.
Bonnie Raitt, Brian Setzer, B.B. King, John Fogerty and Derek Trucks have all graced the stage in Dana Point in years past, and it is this caliber of talent that brings this music fest worldwide acclaim!

The Better Vision for Children Foundation (BVC), a non-profit charity, has one very important goal, working to prevent and cure partial or total blindness resulting from amblyopia (Lazy Eye), Autism, Diabetes and Eye Cancer.

We are working with the BVC who will perform FREE eye exams for all of the kids at any school where we bring our Blues in the Schools program.
