PAVEL JAKUB RYBA songs “Circle of Life ” for new cd ” is “Jazzy Fish Tales…” new 2024″

PAVEL JAKUB RYBA

my new album Jazzy Fish Tales.. feat. Erik Truffaz, Dean Brown Bryan Corbett. This recording is probably the last from Dean Brown, because unfortunately he died 3 months after the recording.
I’m sorry for getting back to you later. I finished the album and needed to rest, so I went to the mountains away from people. I am sending you all now with Liner Notes from Paul Edelstein(usa) and also a mention of my album from Jim Eigo of jazzpromoservices.com from whom I have an offer for an advertising campaign. I am also sending you links to my new album and the official video for the album.
I hope this information is now complete.
Have a great time, thank you  and enjoy listening.
Pavel

Paula Edelstein Liner Notes – „JAZZy Fish Tales“… is a true masterpiece
/ Sounds of Timeless Jazz – manager of Content Development, All Music Guide – music
reviewer/.
„JAZZy Fish Tales“… is a masterpiece by Pavel J. Ryba that contains contains nine original songs
written by Pavel to express various experiences about his life. It is his most personal recording
since the release of “Smaller Wounds.” Recorded in the Czech Republic in Kutná Hora,Vyškov, and
Prague, the United Kingdom in Birmingham and in Paris, France,
this exceptional recording features Pavel playing basses, the keyboards, contributing vocals and a
roar. He is joined by a coterie of great musicians including the late Dean Brown on guitar, Erik
Truffaz and Bryan Corbett on trumpet, Petr Valášek on sax and saxsynth, Fredy Bittner on guitars,
guitarsynth, Pepa Cigánek on drums, Hynek Obst on keyboard, and Mirek Linka on guitar.
Pavel reflects on his relationship with Dean by saying “American and great global guitarist and
friend Dean Brown, unfortunately, recently died and his guitar in my song Karlov City is one of his
last recordings of his life. I liked him very much. We have worked together since 2008 on tour, CD,
TV. Cooperation with him greatly enriched me and made me happy all the time. I am sad that he
has gone to heaven. I have at least the last memory of my new composition of him.”
The recording opens with “Karlov City,” a song about friendship. This song is a true jam that
features great guitar work by Dean Brown with Pavel holding down the bass logic on the lead
melody. “Circle of Life” is a composition about Pavel’s life story. It has a beautiful, lyrical melody
with hints of Corbett’s haunting muted trumpet floating over Pavel’s great bass lines.
During “Liftboy’s Dream,” a composition about a man who has only worked in a hotel elevator all
his life, Pavel invites you, dear listener, to explore the artistic feelings associated with the dream
via the exceptional performances by the band. “I’m from Kutna Hora”, an old folk tune about
Pavel’s hometown, provides an exciting pathway for listeners to connect an inside look into Pavel’s
hometown. Several guitar solos by the band keeps this song rocking while Pavel keeps his bass
soloing out front and top of mind. Awesome song.
“Smaller Wounds,” a song Pavel wrote when his mother died is a beautifully sad but beautiful
positive memory for him, while “Tomorrow Will Be Better II” still accompanies him throughout his
musical life. It's his statement about himself and his love for the bass guitar. Petr Valášek opens
“Tomorrow Will Be Better II” with a brief but memorable sax motif that is underlined by Pavel
excellent bass voicings, outstanding bass colors, soloing and roar. This ballad is among the most
beautiful songs on the recording and remains with you long after the song is over.
Pavel pays tribute to the great Czech composer Antonín Dvořák with a performance of “Largo”
before closing with two bonus tracks – “What´s her poisson” by Pavel J. Ryba and “Jeste jsem to
nedostala” by Petr Valašek.
Overall, Pavel J. Ryba presents the work with great consciousness, care and context while
maintaining fidelity to his original visions and inspirations. „JAZZy Fish Tales“… is a true
masterpiece.
