Billie Rainbird and I had a great Birthday yesterday wrapping up PROTOCOL III – Today we are in “post Birthday Celebration mode” mastering today with the talented and lovely Mr. Brad Vance at Red Mastering!
Protocol III ~ featuring Andy Timmons, Steve Weingart and Ernest Tibbs, will be available at CDbaby and on iTunes April 14th!
We are playing Catalinas’s – Hollywood, CA – Feb. 16th

I am thrilled to announce the release date as being April the 7th for Deep Blue, Billie Rainbird’s new album. Producing and engineering this project has been a great and an expansive pleasure. I am thrilled to watch her now soar! – SP

Finally I have a moment to write about the Protocol sessions. 8 great long creative days with Andy Timmons , Steve Weingart and Ernest Tibbs in Phantomrecordings. Most tracks cut without click track and all very natural and organic. It was a tough week as the material was new and some of it quite tricky but everyone played amazingly and I feel like we captured the live essence of this band. It’s amazing what playing a few shows does to a band. I am looking forward to mixing this record in January. Some pics for ya’ll!!!
