A quick note from Dr Boyce Watkins:

I want to mention a powerful new film called “Elementary Genocide” by Rahiem Shabazz. The film explores the school-to-prison pipeline, which has become the greatest threat to the survival of black children of our time. Dr. Umar Johnson is in the film, along with Grammy Award-winning rapper Killer Mike, and a host of others (including myself) who lay out the issue from all angles.

This is going to be followed by the Month of Resistance in October led by Dr. Cornel West and Carl Dix to challenge the New Jim Crow. We must teach, learn, act and win in order to save our kids from systematic slaughter. This serious problem is destroying our community.
